Opportunity: “Let us build furniture the same way felt hats are constructed”. This was the statement of the concept which wasthe beginning of this project.
Solution: Working around the idea of a felt hat and its production technique, to create a collection of different pieces from low tables to stools and poufs, working with different proportions, and on the little details, to create simply desirable pieces, full of softness and personality.
The result finally explored the use of a thermoforming process as used in the automotive industry for car rear tray.
