20 YEARS: CULDESAC’S MOST ICONIC DESIGNS
In 2002, a group of young designers with fresh ideas began their journey in an industrial warehouse in Valencia. This small studio sought to position itself as a creative space open to share their international, interdisciplinary, humanistic and familiar vision of design.
2002 – LA FOLLA: THE NEW GENERATION OF DESIGN IS BORN
This very peculiar lamp designed as a “flat pack” is presented at the first NUDE edition of the Valencia international furniture fair, a launching platform for the most promising new designers.
Following the spirit of the time, the Fulla´s functional concept allowed customers to receive this surprisingly large piece and assemble it themselves. Its differential element was the diffuser: designed in elastic silicone, its flexibility provided a very attractive luminosity as well as a tension effect defining very fluid and organic curves.
2006 – LLADRÓ RE-CYCLOS: THE ART OF RECYCLING ART
This artistic project proposes a new way to enjoy traditional Lladró porcelain. A highly sustainable initiative in which discarded ceramic products were given a second life, generating unique works from already existing creations but endowed with a new meaning.
Instead of being pulverized, thousands of Christmas decorations in the form of bells and balls were recycled and converted into more complex elements such as geodes (spheres) and wreaths (tori), without the need to transform or modify the original element in any way. These original pieces dressed different spaces of the firm around the world.
2007 – WHISPER & ATLANTIC CHAIRS
Produced by the American company Bernhardt, these chairs have been awarded as the seat of the year at the International Neocon 2007 fair in Chicago and as best chair at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, ICFF 2007, in New York.
2008 – NEOS WATCH
With a unique and recognizable personality, the “NEOS” wristwatch collection designed for the Italian brand Lorenz has been awarded the Compasso d’Oro ADI, Reddot Design Awards and the Architectural Digest 2007.
The design, made of pure and forceful lines, two metal parts and, in the middle, a soft polyurethane ring accompanied by a rubber strap with a subtle vanilla scent manages to balance highly innovative elements with the tradition and elegance of the Lorenz brand.
2008 – SOFA LAMP: LIGHTING THE CHESTER SOFA
Inspired by the iconic Chester sofa, “Sofa Lamp” is a design made for Moooi that manages to convey all the social values of this emblematic sofa while adding the natural appeal of the light effect.
This “out of context” version of an old classic has become a new representative of the lighting industry.

Born with Mediterranean DNA, the collection of shovels created for Avora are not only a new international icon, but also one of the few items of Spanish design on sale at the MoMA museum in New York.
Craftsmanship, design, quality and tradition unite these four wooden pieces designed to reflect our roots and history.
2013 – THE GREAT TOBACCO PROJECT
Inspired by the traditional cigar making crafts of Torres de Quart, this design uses the Caliqueño cigar making technique to make pieces of furniture. Imitating the wrapped tobacco leaf, thin sheets of glued wood veneer are rolled into a perfect tube.
Unique pieces, light but resistant and compact like cigars are flattened at the ends and fixed with simple screws, offering a an elegant assembly system with multiple solutions depending on the pressing angle.
2017 – EL MIL DEL POAIG
A bottle that manages to transmit the qualities of a limited edition oil from native ancient olive trees from Castellón. A sober and functional minimalism in a porcelain container protects the liquid from the action of light, which causes the loss of vitamin E.
While giving the product a strong identity, the design conveys its quality. Its anti-drip system directs any remaining liquid into the container. To complete the presentation and enable its distribution, a wooden box, with an industrial appearance, protects the delicate packaging.
2013 – TRANSALPINA TABLE – PUNT MOBLES
This timeless and delicate looking design for Punt Mobles creates a new type of extendable table. A modern, light and dynamic piece tha can be extended in a much more open and lateral way through a technical solution that does not condition its shape and allows it to be integrated into different environments.
2012 – MICUNA OVO
Created for Ovo, this highchair with rounded and ergonomic lines made of wood integrates the child´s growth as part of the design as it can be adapted to become a chair. An aesthetic product designed to be displayed in homes.
2021 – F-SOLIDPOD
This functional and ergonomic solid shampoo applicator designed for Freshly Cosmetics incorporates some of the key principles of the circular economy: it reuses recycled material that can be recycled again and its durability and extended use over 10 years reduced waste, pollution and the extraction of virgin materials.
